QUINTA DA URZE

オリーブ栽培に興味を持ち始めたときから、いつかは搾ってみたいと想い描いているマイ・オリーブオイル。何本もビン詰めするほどオイルを穫るには相当の数のオリーブの実が必要ですが、毎朝少しパンとともに楽しむくらいなら、ハンドメイドで自分で搾れることを以前知りました。収穫時期だけの愉しみ。近い将来やってみたいことのひとつです。
近年特にボクたち家族がハマっているのが、このポルトガルのオリーブオイル、QUINTA DA URZE(キンタ・ダ・ウルゼ)。単一農園で、昔ながらの有機栽培で育てられているものだそう。味わいも香りも、むせ返るほどスパイシー。このクセが自分たち好みです。気にかかったら、ぜひ一度試してみてくださいね。
これからも気になるオリーブオイルを見つけたら、ちょっと書いてみようと思っています。
